The new high-speed bag palletising system by KOCH

Tuesday 20. May 2008 - The innovative high-speed bag palletising system engineered by KOCH boasts robot bag palletising at speeds in excess of 1,000 bags per hour.

The complete bag-filling line recently implemented for the flour-milling industry demonstrates day after day just what KOCH Robotersysteme stands for: grasping more, moving more!

The heart of the fully automatic line – the custom-designed robot system with a newly developed KOCH palletising robot and an optimised control system – reliably and flexibly renders its services 24 hours a day. At present 1 articulated arm robot takes various bags of flour from 2 parallel feeder lines, picking the customer-specified 750 bags each hour and placing them by type on the pallets allocated. The high-speed bag palletising system could actually handle over 1,000 bags per hour, however. Simple customisation to future applications provides the customer with the additional guarantee of future-proof production.

The turnkey line also features Big Bag filling and palletising, the entire conveyor technology, system control with all the required interfaces to the superordinate EDP system, all the safety installations, printing each of the bags of flour, securing the load with a pull-over stretch hood, and labelling the full pallets. All the components have been planned, installed and synchronised by KOCH as the general contractor.
