New bookbinding line VIP BOOK presented by Zechini in Drupa 2008

Thursday 15. May 2008 - Since 50 years Zechini is a leading company in the field of bindery and paper converting offering to his customers an experience due to a deep analysis about this market, and works to spread an image of quality, innovation and assistance, according with customer needs.

Now Zechini introduces on the market a new revolutionary product for hardcover books, flexible, reliable and very user-friendly: the integrated system Vip Book Line.
As result of three years of study, completely projected and realized in Zechini factory thank to the best of italian technology, the new line of integrated or integrable machinery, allows in case of large productions, to realize “in line” step by step the different phases of the of the hardcover book making, reducing to the minimum, the dead times between a passage and the next one: that allows to save a lot of time and costs and to reach a production of 20 books/minute.
In case of smaller production, the machines are projected to work as single machines also or to be integrated with customer’s ones: that offers the possibility to increase in a second time the range of machines according to personal needs, with the possibility however to use the machines off line.
The variety of formats, from 500×325 mm to 120×70 mm is a demonstration of the high versatility of the system also in case of “extra format” jobs , guaranteeing anyway an high quality at low prices.
The Vip Book Line is composed by the sequence of the machines according with the different phases of book processing: it starts with Vip Press end paper, to be continued with Vip Gauze and the Three knife trimmer; then to Vip Ribbon for ribbon inserting in the case of very high quality books; then the Vip Banding, Vip Round, Vip Case and at the end the Vip Forming.
The line is in production and tested already and will be officially introduced in occasion of the international fair of Drupa that will find place in Dusseldorf (Germany) in May 2008.
