GOEBEL Schneid- und Wickelsysteme GmbH will exhibit an MPW 300 slitter rewinder
Thursday 15. May 2008 - At drupa 2008 in Duesseldorf, GOEBEL will exhibit a fully automatic slitter rewinder of the MPW 300 series. The machine will rewind gift wrap paper in short rolls on booth D43, hall 10. This machine, distinguished by its particularly high rate of automatization, was integrated from the Senntech program into the GOEBEL product range within the last few months.
Due to the use of three rewind shafts it is possible to reduce the machines downtime. At a time, one of the rewind shafts each is employed for winding, finished roll unloading and new core loading. These functions as well as web cross cutting and finished roll close-up are executed simultaneously and fully automatically.
The operator supervises the production and takes care of the supply of new mill reels and consumables such as rewind cores, adhesive tape etc. Stringent and clearly arranged menus simplify the input of production data into the Siemens S7 control.
On our booth we will show the complete MPW 300 machine including the transport of the finished rolls onto a delivery table. The total supply sold to the European end user of this machine also covers an automatic plugger and a shrink-wrap unit.
With the focus on cost reduction, GOEBEL in addition to the slitter itself also principally offers semi- or fully automated packaging lines which are customized to meet the respective requirements of our customer. They also allow the integration of labelling, plugging and film wrapping units as well as cartoning and palletizing lines. Depending on its configuration, the installation is able to handle the output of one or several slitters and even allows to process different products at the same time.
