Tuesday 13. May 2008 - Monomatic, the specialist over 60 years in design and construction of non-stop unwinders and rewinders for printing, coating or laminating lines is following its development by offering machines perfectly suitable for its customers performance requirements.
Already at the leading end of progress in the field of unwinders and rewinders for thin materials – with production and splicing speeds up to 1000 m/min for reels with diameters of 1,5 m and widths of 2 m or even more – Monomatic confirms its presence among the world leaders in the field of cardboard and laminates unwinding thanks to its newly developed unwinder MS VT, specially conceived for high speed printing lines.
This new unwinder, soon presented in preview at Drupa 2008 (Hall 11 – stand E-55), completes perfectly the existing unwinders range MS BB and BT (unwinders for reels with diameters of 1,85 m and widths up to 850 mm and for butt to butt splicing speeds up to 400 m/min) by meeting frequent requests for high speed machines able to reach speeds up to 600 m/min.
The unwinder MS VT, based on unwinding techniques which are totally mastered by the Monomatic teams, offers a new patented splicing device ensuring a splice sequence even shorter, and a reduced new reel preparation time.
Its compact and ergonomic construction, allowing an easy access for operators working, and its horizontal festoon, which grants very interesting space savings, are working this unwinders way up to first place in the high speed printing industry.
The MS VT unwinder is the concrete expression of the innovation spirit, which Monomatic has cultivated since its beginning and of its concern to propose technical solutions perfectly matching the customers needs, being for machinery manufacturers or end users.
