World-Renowned Futurist Alvin Toffler Headlines Rockwell Automation Manufacturing 2.0 Executive Event

Futurist icon Alvin Toffler, who first came to worldwide prominence with the publication of the best-seller Future Shock, will head a line-up of world-class speakers at the 2008 Manufacturing 2.0 event, hosted by Rockwell Automation. Toffler will kick off the event with a keynote and Q&A session, which will be followed by speakers from some of today’s most innovative companies on the theme of “Fueling Your Innovation Engine.”
Toffler’s latest book, Revolutionary Wealth, focuses on the globalization of society and the macro trends that affect the conduct of business globally. His predictions have earned him consultancies with the Russian, Chinese and U.S. governments. Designed exclusively for an audience of senior manufacturing IT and operations professionals, Manufacturing 2.0 also features the following additional world-class presentations:
IBM Big Green Initiative Chief Technology Officer Dr. Peter Williams will discuss the going-green movement and its implications for future manufacturing;
Cisco Systems Vice President of Global Enterprise Marketing Paul McNab will address the convergence of communications technologies;
