Pilz makes its debut at interpack

Pilz is exhibiting at interpack for the first time. The company will be presenting universal automation solutions for packaging machines, from sensor technology and the corresponding evaluation devices with diagnostics and visualisation, through to actuator technology. So Pilz combines the issues of safety, automation and motion control. Tailored solutions are also available, enabling customers to satisfy their individual requirements in terms of design and packaging sizes. PMCprimo control systems also enable high precision operation when multiple axes need to be synchronised, as in the case of drinks packaging.
In terms of overall automation solutions, Pilz’s future course will increasingly be to dovetail standard control technology with proven safety technology. That’s why the new servo amplifiers PMCprotego D are already equipped with a slot for the forthcoming safety card, which will enable the simple implementation of safety functions such as safely reduced speed, safe operational stop or safe standstill.

PSEN safety switches, for example, take into account the industry’s strict hygiene requirements by being resistant to cleaning agents.
