More than 500 pages of vacuum technology

Thursday 01. May 2008 - New main catalogue "Schmalz Vacuum Components 2008/2009 now available.

With the new general catalogue “Vacuum Components 2008/2009” the vacuum specialists J. Schmalz GmbH in D-72293 Gllatten again present their accumulated expertise and their comprehensive range of vacuum-technology components in an impressive publication.
On more than 500 pages, designers and users can find everything they need to know about vacuum components fort he design and construction of vacuum systems. Innovative products such as needle grippers, special suction pads for the packaging industry, suction pads for handling hot workpieces, inline filters, blowers and pumps etc. open up many new possibilities.
During production of the catalogue, particular attention was paid to a user-friendly layout. The structure has been improved by splitting the section “Suction pads” into several smaller sections. In The new secti9n “Special grippers” contains information about grippers with special principles of operation, such as needle grippers, magnetic grippers and floating suction pads.


Furthermore, the “right” suction van now be found more quickly and easily on the basis of its diameter. A special table shows, for each suction-pad diameter, the product families which include pads of this size, together with information about possible applications and the page on which they can be found.
Detailed design drawings, clear graphics and informative product photos round off the new catalogue.

The printed version of the new catalogue is available in German, English, Spanish, French or Italian. The CD-version contains it in all five languages. This CD-ROM is completely linked, making it possible to jump from the table of contents to the desired product group very quickly, even faster than in the printed catalogue.


The VacuCalculator, a freeware program included on the CD-ROM, is particularly useful for designers and developers, since it assists them in calculating and designing vacuum systems!
The catalogue is available in either version – printed or on CD-ROM – free of charge.
