Meypack technology offensive at the interpack 2008: Fully automatic adjustment points on the VP 501 / Popular FTS-B-HD 32 bag closing machine with new pneumatic
Wednesday 30. April 2008 - Ensuring the largest possible flexibility through automation - that is the trade fair theme of the Westphalian machine manufacturing specialist Meypack at this years interpack 2008. From April 24th to 30th, 2008 in Hall 14, Stand D15, visitors will not only able to be impressed by the fully automatic adjustment points on the high speed VP 501 case packer on display, but can also learn more about the versatility of the Meypack machine control system.
In general, Meypack offers all machines with either Siemens or Allen Bradley control systems, and an Elau control system is also an option for the end-packaging machines.
The popular FTS-B-HD 32 B bag closing machine has also received a once over – in particular, the cables, hoses and pneumatics have been overhauled in order to simplify the cleaning and maintenance processes in the future.
Maximum flexibility thanks to fully automatic adjustment points: Meypacks VP 501 high speed case packers offer an efficient solution for shaped bottles
A VP 501 case packer will be on display at this years interpack 2008. This machine has been designed to pack shaped bottles made of plastic, PET and HDPE. The machine can process up to 7 different bottles – and that in over 20 formations. The machines strengths lie in the dividing system designed specifically for shaped bottles and in the controlled guiding of the products from the infeed up to the packing into wrap-around cases. The fully automatic format changes enable a fast and precise change-over of the machine – without any change parts to remove or replace. Thanks to the fully automatic format change-overs, the formats and setting values can be saved and then called back up later to ensure exact and reliable replication.
The machine is designed to operate continuously over a long period of time and for this purpose has been equipped with a high capacity blank magazine.
Meypack bag closing technology – simple handling, easy cleaning and maintenance
Improvements have also been made to the Meypack bag closing technology. The construction of the popular FTS-B-HD 32 bag closing machine has been optimised to simplify cleaning and maintenance. This machine closes multilayered paper bags according to Meypacks proven FTS procedure in a continuous process. If the bags have PE-inner liners, these can be hermetically sealed. Even dusty contents pose no problem thanks to the integrated cleaning station. The hygienic FTS-closure is suitable for all bags with bulk solids, powders and granules – especially for food products.
At Meypacks trade fair stand, an FTS-B-HD 32 will be exhibited, complete with a makrolon cover to allow visitors to clearly see the packaging process. In addition, the machine has improved electrical and pneumatic systems. Furthermore, the cable and hose guides have been overhauled and newly arranged, simplifying cleaning, care and maintenance. The control system has also been improved: A touch panel for controlling the machine is offered as an additional option.
