OUTPUTLINKS ANNOUNCES NEW SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR SPONSORS

Wednesday 16. April 2008 - OutputLinks, the information and research resource of the high volume transaction output (HVTO) industry, today announced its newest scholarship series --- The OutputLinks Sponsors Scholarships --- a program to honor and reward OutputLinks Sponsors.

Through the establishment of the OutputLinks Sponsors Scholarships, five $1,000 university scholarships will be awarded annually to employees, family members and nominees of OutputLinks Sponsors. EDSF, the international non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and graphic communications marketplace, will administer the scholarships for OutputLinks. EDSF and OutputLinks are both committed to preparing the next generation of print, graphics, communications and technological professionals.

“We’re always proud to partner with EDSF to discover and reward the next generation of business leaders,” said Andy and Julie Plata, owners of OutputLinks. “Each OutputLinks Sponsor is an industry visionary that appreciates and values the pursuit of academic excellence. This new program is dedicated to those great companies.”

These five OutputLinks Sponsors Scholarships are provided to qualified students worldwide without regard to field of study or degree program. They apply to full- or part-time adult or youth students who are employed by, or otherwise related to, companies that are OutputLinks Sponsors.

Scholarships are based on any one or a combination of the following: scholastic achievement, application essay, participation in school activities, career activities, community service, honors and organizational affiliations, and education objectives.

Undergraduate and advanced-degree students enrolled in accredited colleges and universities, technical or trade schools, and community colleges (in the United States or abroad) may be considered for the scholarships. This year’s applications are due May 15.
