El Diario de Noticias de Navarra entrusts Protec with managing its advertising procedures

In an effort to manage more quickly and effectively its advertising, El Diario de Noticias de Navarra, part of the Grupo Noticias, has decided to acquire the Protec CICLON Originals and CICLON Plan Manager solutions. According to the newspaper’s technology and systems director, Javier Gilsanz, Protec’s solutions were chosen because “both applications satisfy our current needs, due to their integration with the rest of the systems and for our mutual trust in Protec that has existed for some time”.

With these two solutions, Diario de Noticias’ objective has been to fulfil certain very clear objectives. “With CICLON Originals our aim is to have a tool capable of managing, normalising, storing and recovering advertising originals in a simple and secure way,” states Gilsanz. As for CICLON Plan Manager, the reasons for choosing this solution are also clear, as the director of technology explains: “We need it to create and generate dummies simply and quickly, while taking into account the advertising space as well as the editorial content of our products.”

Diario de Noticias is the first newspaper in the group to acquire CICLON solutions, but it will not be the last, since the idea is that this implementation process will be repeated soon in the other two group newspapers: Diario de Noticias de Álava and Diario de Noticias de Gipuzkoa.

At present, Diario de Noticias de Navarra, which was founded in 1994, has a circulation of 18,514 copies and 88,000 readers, being a reference point for the information that is of most interest to the inhabitants of Navarra.
