TOTAL PRINT! EXPO REFLECTS THE CHANGING FACE OF PRINT

Wednesday 09. April 2008 - 'Solutions for the short run print market' is the banner under which IIR Exhibitions is launching Total Print! Expo 2008 on 14-16 October 2008 at Earls Court 2, London as the new event for the graphic arts market. Total Print! Expo builds on the success of Digital Print World (DPW) as an exhibition for all printing solutions under one roof.

With most printers equipped with an armoury of machinery to tackle any job, quantity is no longer an issue in the mature, but not static, UK print market. The emphasis today is on the printed product: its price, its quality and its turnaround speed.

“There has to be a complete shift of focus and Total Print! Expo is leading the way,” says IIR Event Director Richard Gayle. “The exhibition is a natural evolution of DPW and will run the gamut from design to mailroom with every step in between. The spotlight will be on the production of added-value creative solutions and end products and the role technology plays in the process.”

As well as over 100 leading suppliers, Total Print! Expo will also feature an extensive education programme with a Print Buyers’ forum, Hosted Buyers programme, innovation zone, in-depth workshop-style executive master classes and print industry debates. It is also supported by the BPIF, PrintIT and BAPC, all of whom will have a strong presence.

“As print’s premier trade and business support organisation, the BPIF is delighted to be supporting Total Print! Expo in 2008. We are delighted that the show will continue to promote digital print while at the same time is extending its remit to encompass the full range of print solutions. London needs a first-class print exhibition that is able to showcase to printers and print customers alike the huge range of products available to them that will add real value to their businesses and Total Print! Expo looks set to do this in some style this year”
