FUJIFILM Dimatix Targets Drupa to Introduce Inkjet Products, Technologies and Expertise

Wednesday 26. March 2008 - Leading supplier of inkjet printheads will highlight its printing products, materials deposition capabilities and integration solutions through various technology demonstrations in Hall 8b, stand B03.

Plans include the global launch of a new inkjet printhead that expands opportunities for new printer designs; plus support for Drupa-bound OEM partners.

FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc., the world’s leading supplier of piezoelectric inkjet printheads for industrial applications, will use Drupa 2008 for its first major appearance on the international print industry scene since Spectra, Inc. was renamed Dimatix in 2005 and subsequently acquired by FUJIFILM Corporation.
Under the banner “FUJIFILM Dimatix – Building Businesses One Drop at a Time”, the company will prominently display and demonstrate the latest capabilities of its industryleading piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet technology at Messe Düsseldorf, in Hall 8b, stand B03. Billed as the world’s leading exhibition for the printing industry, Drupa is expected to draw an international audience of more than 300,000 visitors to Düsseldorf, Germany from May 29 through June 11, 2008.
Among the demonstrations featured will be a prototypical, single-pass production inkjet press designed and built by the company’s Dimatix Technology Integration group.
Another demonstration, of a precision laboratory development system will showcase the many advantages of FUJIFILM Dimatix’ proprietary Shaped Piezo Silicon MEMS technology, including its unique ability to jet a diverse range of functional fluids for applications in and beyond print.
The company is also planning the global launch at Drupa of a new inkjet printhead that will enable a new level of single-pass and scanning applications.
FUJIFILM Dimatix will support its many OEM customers and ink partners exhibiting at the show by providing visitors to the FUJIFILM Dimatix stand with information, directions to each customer’s stand, and more. These and the company’s other OEMs and ink partners offer a broad range of products to end users that are based on FUJIFILM Dimatix Spectra-branded inkjet printheads and jetting assemblies. These products include high performance printing systems and a broad range of inks and functional fluids used in applications from graphics display printing and industrial marking and coding, to mailing, addressing and product decoration.
