Wednesday 05. March 2008 - New Enhancements Demonstrate Ability of SaaS Leader to Consistently Deliver Major New Features Within 12-Week Release Schedule

SpringCM, the leader in on-demand document management and workflow, today announced SpringCM Version 4.2, the newest version of the company’s award-winning document management and workflow Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. Delivering Version 4.2 within the scheduled 12-week release schedule demonstrates SpringCM’s ability to adapt to the fluctuations of market needs, an accomplishment that increasingly drives businesses to choose SaaS solutions. Version 4.2 offers several major new features and significant enhancements designed to improve business productivity and to automate document-centric processes including eForms, Automated Document Customization and Custom Reporting.

Highlights of SpringCM 4.2 include:

eForms — The SpringCM eForms solution is designed to replace paper processes and to facilitate common business processes. eForms has the ability to transform and improve many business applications including vacation requests, new hire on-boarding, insurance forms, training enrollment, contracts, expense requisitions, asset management, procure-to-pay, vendor dispute resolution, incident reporting, insurance claims, healthcare and compliance management. The Web-based forms are easy to create, fill in, route for approval and place in folders preconfigured to automatically notify the appropriate individuals. Self-indexing and automated data validation improve the speed and accuracy of data collection, and all data can be reused and leveraged in other applications.

Automated Document Customization — By consolidating structured data into unstructured documents, the Automated Document Customization feature enables organizations to streamline business processes and to standardize outgoing documents. SpringCM uses standard document templates to create customized documents such as contracts, offer letters or personalized correspondence. The Automated Document Customization feature streamlines and automates tasks such as contract generation in conjunction with electronic signatures, significantly reducing the time required to get contracts signed. In human resources, generating and approving offer letters has never been easier, and the support department can quickly deliver personalized correspondence that leads to increased customer satisfaction. Automated Document Customization can be configured for a specific process or used on an ad hoc basis.

Custom Reporting — Robust reporting and customizable views are key factors in improving productivity and increasing process efficiency. SpringCM Custom Reporting helps businesses measure the productivity benefits of their document-centric applications and make process improvements where necessary. While viewing reports, customers can instantly change the sort-order for columns, resize the tables and set the default view for a custom report. Version 4.2 provides template reports that serve as a starting point for creating new reports and help to ensure that reports have a consistent look and feel by presenting colors, fonts, headers and footers as configurable options.

SpringCM has also made significant enhancements to its Advanced Workflow, Request for Electronic Signature, standard routing and approval workflows and salesforce.com integration features.

Dan Carmel, CEO for SpringCM, stated, “We are extremely pleased to deliver this new release of the SpringCM platform. Version 4.2 continues our history of providing major enhancements to our customers every 10-12 weeks. The new eForms and Automated Document Customization features enable new types of document-centric business applications. This release marks a new level of flexibility and ease-of-use that again demonstrate SpringCM’s leadership in delivering an integrated SaaS platform for comprehensive document management and workflow.”

SpringCM Version 4.2 will be made generally available March 15, 2008.
