Screen (USA): On the Road Again
Wednesday 16. January 2008 - Trade shows have long played a crucial role when it comes to launching new and updated Screen products. The past year was no different. Screen (USA) staff contributed to major regional and national shows, including Graph Expo, PrintFest and Graphics of the Americas.
We also participated in such market-specific events as Nexpo (newspaper printing), SGIA Expo & Conference (specialty graphic imaging) and On Demand (digital printing). When Graphics of the Americas returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center from February 28-March 1, Screen will again be on hand to present prepress systems, customer-focused output devices and workflow solutions. In Booth #1064, the PlateRite Niagara will make a return appearance at this years GOA show. With an output speed of 11 plates per hour, the entrylevel 8-up thermal platesetter makes the transition to high-quality digital plate production easier than ever for printers. Because it is among the printing industrys most versatile and affordable CTP solutions, the PlateRite Niagara has been well received in the markets served by GOA attendees.
We also will showcase the PlateRite 4300, the latest generation of the 4-up CTP format. It can accommodate 2-up, 4-up and 6-up plate production. The PlateRite 4300 series has a maximum output of 21 plates per hour and includes a host of features for improved productivity and quality.
Screen experts, as well as representatives from our distributors in Mexico, Brazil and the Caribbean, will answer questions and demonstrate Screen technology of vital interest to the southern U.S. and Latin American markets.
