New locations for the Krones Academy

The Krones Academy possesses more than 50 qualified instructors worldwide.

Thursday 03. January 2008 - The Krones Academy, up and running for more than 25 years now, collects and synergises all the available knowledge on Krones’ technologies, groups together the essentials in compact training units, and offers these to all our clients worldwide.

A comprehensive and responsively targeted training program, covering all Krones’ machines and lines, has been designed to address each and every job remit encountered in production and bottling facilities. The Krones Academy possesses more than 50 qualified instructors worldwide, all of whom are involved in a process of continual skilling, acquiring the didactic capabilities required to effectively communicate the knowledge concerned.

Besides the Krones Academy’s headquarters at the facility in Neutraubling, there are training centres in the USA, in England and in China. And more are currently being set up in Brazil and Africa. The aim is to communicate the courses’ contents in the various regions and national languages involved, with maximised geographical proximity and practical relevance. Each seminar program concludes with a certificate as a confirmation of attendance.

The right seminar for everyone
The Krones Academy adopts a responsively individualised approach. The range of training courses on offer includes options meaningfully tailored to different objectives. The modularised training units are matched to the client’s own tasking profile and the experience possessed by the participants involved.

When a client buys a new machine, the staff involved are trained in modularised units. In Phase 1 of the training programme, before erection, the control philosophy and the machine’s technology are presented. After commissioning, this is followed by Phase 2, which offers separate training units for the operators, the maintenance staff and the electricians. Coverage is provided for existing lines, too: assessing the line’s efficiency level and appraising the qualifications of the staff concerned enable a customised skilling and supplementary programme to be formulated. And individual employees (new hirings, for example, or subject-matter experts and managers) can of course receive special tuition at any time.
