Trend Offset sign for Smart-binder purchase at Drupa

Thursday 07. July 2016 - The large US printer Trend Offset arrived at Drupa 2016 intending to purchase a suitable digital saddle-stitching solution.

After assessing our IBIS Smart-binder operating on the Domino booth (in-line with a Domino K630i printer) they decided to invest in a new Smart-binder SB-3 ‘Plus HS’.

The SB-3 for Trend will be fitted with a number of value added options such as:

In-line sheet pile feeder to allow off-line sheet feed in addition to feed from the printed roll
Trimmer center knife for small format booklets
Dynamic sheet perforation
Special modifications to increase max trimmed book width to 10″

Drupa was very successful show for IBIS, resulting in a number of new Smart-binder orders from customers who are increasingly recognising the benefits that the Smart-binder system can provide for their business
