Gandy Digital to provide first live public demonstration of latest high resolution five metre UV roll-to-roll Fascin8tor printer at drupa 2016

Gandy Digital, a manufacturer of market leading digital inkjet large format printers, will use drupa 2016 as the platform to provide the first live public demonstration of its new Fascin8tor large format five metre UV roll-to-roll printer.
Fully operational on Gandy Digitals stand (Hall 6, Stand D69), the newest addition to Gandy Digitals expanding range delivers large format five metre wide prints with very low ink consumption and prints at exceptional quality regardless of speed. These key attributes enable large format print houses and sign & display businesses to increase productivity, application variety and job profitability.
Equipped with eight Ricoh Gen 4 6 picolitre print heads per colour and advanced Blade technology, the Fascin8tor produces optimum print resolution in all printing modes and speeds, ensuring vibrant high-quality print output across an array of applications. As well as printing onto mesh without a liner for outdoor applications such as billboards, these include an array of indoor POS/POP and other promotional projects. The automatic head height adjustment allows users to change material thickness in minutes, while the print heads are protected through the printers unique crash sensor option.
Moreover, thanks to the Fascin8tors high density, small fixed dot printing capability customers enjoy improved cost-savings due to reduced ink consumption per square metre. The Fascin8tor also allows multiple material rolls to print different jobs at the same time, while the printers jumbo roll feature handles rolls up to 1000 metres long with ease.

Alongside showcasing the new Fascin8tor printer at drupa 2016, Gandy Digital will feature a selection of advanced printers from its range, including:
Gandy Digital Softjet – A direct to fabric roll-to-roll one-process sublimation printer, which incorporates a built-in drum heater for ink curing , eliminating the need for a calendaring unit. The Softjet uses environmentally safe water-based inks to provide vibrant and durable colours. Featuring the latest Ricoh Gen 5 print heads, Softjet is available in 3.3m (10’10”), 2.54m (8’4″), 1.88m (6’2″) print widths.
Gandy Digital Pred8tor and Domin8tor – The Pred8tor and Domin8tor are True UV flatbed printers with a vacuum table. The Pred8tor print size is 1.22m (4ft) X 2.44 m (8ft) and the Domin8tor print size is 2m (6ft 6 in) X 3.05m (10 ft). The Pred8tor and Domin8tor come with a roll-to-roll option that achieves the same print quality without compromising true flatbed capability. Print quality and speed on the Pred8tor and Domin8tor are driven by the inline Blade print head configuration system, printing 25.4cm (10 inch) wide swath using 6-picoliter variable dot Ricoh print heads. This system eliminates head to head alignment and gives incredible sharp images at high speeds.
