From 18 to 22 May Roland is again making the trip to Cologne for FESPA, the international trade fair for large format and textile printing. At stand Q15 in Hall 6, the company is showcasing its full range of reliable large format printers and combined printer/cutters, which are respected worldwide for their quality and ease of use. They are used to produce professional signage, banners, posters, roll-ups, labels, stickers and much more besides. As well as inkjet printers, Roland DG is also presenting its new 3D printer and desktop-milling machine and a whole range of cutters, including the new CAMM-1 GS-24 desktop cutter.
Besides the well-known product range, Roland DG will also present some new developments. More information will be released in the next few weeks.
RIP software for Mac OS
At FESPA, Roland DG is presenting the new PrintStudio software. PrintStudio is a powerful RIP for Mac OS, with a very user-friendly interface and Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE). It complements Roland’s VersaWorks, the popular RIP which Roland supplies as standard with all its printers, and is compatible with a PC.
PrintStudio can control a wide range of Roland printers, including the popular VersaCAMM, SOLJET PRO4 and VersaUV series and the latest desktop cutter, the GS-24. A selection of older models is also supported.
Ccalender for use in combination with Texart sublimation printer
Roland DG will also be demonstrating the new Texart CS-64. This is a robust, user-friendly and attractively priced calender, measuring 64″ (162.5 cm) for use in combination with the Texart RT-640 sublimation printer. The calender meets the requirements of both new and experienced textile printers and sign-makers. The roller transfers prints from transfer paper onto polyester-based materials or applies ink to directly-printed textiles.
Creative and inspiring examples
At its stand, Roland DG will be exhibiting a whole range of innovative applications. There will be consultants to provide explanations of the materials presented. Karel Sannen, Marketing Coordinator at Roland DG Central Europe: “We want to show visitors that our devices offer endless possibilities. At our stand, there will be consultants who will provide detailed explanations of the items on display. In this way, we will not only inspire, but also inform, so that visitors can effectively evaluate the opportunities and practical feasibility. We therefore invite all visitors to come and take a look at our stand in Hall 6.”
