With the purchase of the entire shares of eltromat by BST International, a new era begins for both companies. With the future BST eltromat two suppliers for quality assurance systems become one strong technology partner for the worldwide customers.
BST International (Bielefeld/Germany) is the leading manufacturer of quality assuring systems for the web processing in-dustries, specialized on systems for web guiding, color measurement, web inspection, register control, layer thickness and basis weight measurement as well as tailored solutions for tire production.
The previous eltromat GmbH (Leopoldshöhe/Germany) stands for innovative video and inspection systems, as well as color and register control solutions for quality inspection and quality control for in-line printing processes.
With the acquisition, the international BST group becomes a leading technology partner for all quality assurance and production optimization requirements of the web processing industries. With the combined know-how, the experienced team, the strengths of the product lines and the tight global manufacturing and service network, the new company offers a portfolio to the customers that is unique in the market.
“Through the merger, we can even better focus on our customer requirements and reduce time-to-market for new solutions. Whether extrusion, packaging production, hygiene industry or tire manufacturing – BST and eltromat were very good as single players – but now merged to BST eltromat we become the key market and technology leader”, explains Dipl.-Ing. Uwe Meyer, CEO of BST, the key aspects of the company merger.
Uwe Meyer will also become CEO at BST eltromat. The previous eltromat CEO Dr. Gunter Tautorus and Dr. Johann-Carsten Kipp will assume the positions of the commercial (CFO) and technical management (CTO). Former BST sales manager Dipl.-Kaufm. Kristian Jünke will complete the new management team as Deputy Manager/Head of Sales & Service.?
