New CEO for Manroland Swiss AG
Wednesday 23. August 2017 - Georg Riescher, 59, has been appointed CEO of Manroland Swiss AG with immediate effect. He will be responsible for the companys overall operation and business development in Switzerland.
With a career at Manroland spanning more than 30 years and extensive experience in the print industry, Riescher graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, Germany in 1981, joining MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG, Augsburg initially as a design engineer and project manager, later progressing to Vice President of R & D and Engineering (1991 – 1995) and Board Director of the Sales and Service Organizations (2005 – 2012).
Mr. Riescher officially takes over from Jakob Rösti who recently retired after years of dedicated service to Manroland Switzerland.
Rafael Penuela, CEO of Manroland Sheetfed GmbH, congratulated him on his new role and said:
