Konica Minolta dubs The Print Show a vital component after committing to 2017 event

Wednesday 05. July 2017 - Konica Minolta signs up to exhibit at The Print Show for the third year Bernard Cassidy of Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, describes The Print Show as a vital component in the firms communications strategy Konica Minolta will display new additions to the Konica Minolta Production Print hardware portfolio, including the AccurioPress C6100 series Bernard Cassidy says that The Print Show is the perfect platform to see the latest innovations from major brands across the industry

In a significant display of ongoing support to The Print Show, Konica Minolta has signed up to exhibit at the event for third year in a row.

The digital print giant has been a staunch supporter of The Print Show since its launch in 2015. This year, the company has taken one of the larger stands at the event, mirroring its strategy at the inaugural show in 2015 and last year’s event.

“The Print Show is a vital component in our communications strategy to engage with both Konica Minolta’s customers and prospects,” Cassidy said, adding: “Our investment in The Print Show is a tangible representation of our commitment to both the production print market and to our customers.”

Cassidy went on to issue a call to arms for the industry to continue its excellent support of the event, outlining just how valuable The Print Show is to the UK market: “Print-service-providers are constantly having to adapt, reshape and evolve their offer to ensure that print remains relevant in an increasingly digital world.

“The Print Show is the perfect platform for them to see the latest technologies, software, finishing, materials and services in one place, to get hands-on with the equipment on stand and see how sophisticated solutions can take cost and complexity out of their printing operations.”

Cassidy continues: “Importantly, exhibitions provide the perfect opportunity to engage with people face to face, whether that’s to build on already strong existing customer and partner relationships, make new connections, or engage with potential buyers—this in itself is reason enough to exhibit.

“This is also a great opportunity for the market to see how Konica Minolta is evolving. We will be able to demonstrate the growing importance of the industrial and commercial printing sectors as Konica Minolta becomes more customer focused and moves more into marketing, software, and cross-media services to take print applications on to a new level.”

Cassidy also said that Konica Minolta already has a good idea of its key goals for the event, adding that the company will showcase various new pieces of kit at the show. The Print Show 2017 runs from October 11th to 13th at the International Centre in Telford, where it will be providing free parking and lunch for visitors.

New technology

“The focus of our stand will be production workflow automation and exciting new additions to the Konica Minolta Production Print hardware portfolio, including the AccurioPress C6100 series,” Cassidy said, adding: “From our perspective, we will have a team of dedicated production print specialists on hand to provide expert guidance and advice to print providers looking to diversify and broaden their printed communications service offering.”

He continued: “We will work with customers at The Print Show 2017 to identify key areas within their production workflow, where improvements could be made around the effectiveness of document production from job capture and preparation, through to colour management and finishing, to save you time and increase profit margins.

“Faced with increasing demand for short-run, fast turnaround jobs, ultimately, business growth depends on the ability to minimise costs, maximise output and achieve viable production volumes.

“The most effective way of overcoming the challenge of doing more in the same time, is to implement workflow automation solutions that make light work of time-intensive, error-prone manual processes.”
