Vila Etiketten purchases fourth HP Indigo: HP Indigo 8000 digital press
Friday 05. May 2017 - HP Inc. announces that Bredas own Vila Etiketten, a member of Optimum Group and one of the largest Dutch label makers, has purchased the HP Indigo 8000 digital press.
With the HP Indigo printer Vila Etiketten will be able to boost sales due to the increase of production capacity, added flexibility and choice for the customers print jobs. This is the fourth HP Indigo press Vila Etiketten has purchased.
The HP Indigo 8000 is a great step towards the digitalization of the flexographic print for Vila Etiketten. Digital printing offers more, better and faster possibilities to personalize the print work, allowing customers more options for creative design.
“Vila Etiketten is growing rapidly. We bought our first HP Indigo press in 2005, and 12 years later we now have four presses to keep up with customer demand and our growing business,” says Robbert Vugts, General Manager and owner of Vila Etiketten. “With the HP Indigo technology, quality is guaranteed. Our growth – and the fact that we added a fourth press – is proof.”
One of the biggest benefits, according to Vugts, is the quality of the colors. One color in particular matters the most. “It is often forgotten, but white is very important for our customers. Many customers take white as the base of their labels. With the HP Indigo 8000 we can ensure that our customers will get the perfect white every single time,” says Vugts.
Currently Vila Etiketten is rebuilding their location in Breda, dedicating an entire floor to digital printing. Vila Etikettens new HP Indigo 8000 digital press will print its first labels in April.
