Intec extends commitment as Morgana states it needs to be at The Print Show

Tuesday 21. February 2017 - Humidity Solutions also signs up to exhibit at the International Centre in October

Global digital print leader Intec Printing Solutions has continued its support of The Print Show by signing up to exhibit at this year’s event as Morgana revealed why it has a high degree of confidence in the event’s third year.

The next edition of The Print Show will take place from October 11th to 13th at new venue the International Centre in Telford, a town that is known to locals as the ‘Birthplace of Industry’, due to its historic innovation. This year, The Print Show will follow in the steps of some of the UK’s greatest-ever industrialists and serve as a platform for the market’s biggest names to demonstrate their latest technology.

Intec, which has taken one of the largest stands at the event, will be exhibiting for the third consecutive year and already has an idea of what it will showcase in terms of technology at the event.

Visitors can see the new Intec CS3000 digital printer, as well as a new full-colour envelope printing system, a new label printing and finishing system, a label and packaging cutting system, the new range of speciality and premium effect, as well as the company’s security printing solutions.

Ian Melville, managing director of Intec, said: “The Print Show is a great place for Intec to meet our UK dealers and also to meet existing and new clients to show off our latest technology. At each of the last two events, we have met some great people and as a result we have sold new Intec printing systems; as a manufacturer that is what it is ultimately all about.

“The bottom line is that we are attending the Print Show in order to invite all of our UK dealers and customers to see the latest technology and products from Intec at a centrally located venue.”

Melville was also quick to pay tribute to the impact that The Print Show has had on the industry since its introduction in 2015: “The UK print industry needs an annual forum, meeting place and exhibition for the UK suppliers to showcase and launch new products into the UK market.

“Intec felt that The Print Show has built some momentum in establishing itself as the annual event that the UK printing industry can attend with this being their third consecutive year.

“As an international supplier we are finding that customers are far less inclined to travel overseas that was the case in the past and so we tend to find that national events for the national market are more focused and a more intimate way of meeting and demonstrating products.”

Meanwhile, finishing specialist Morgana Systems, which last month confirmed that it would be returning to The Print Show for the third consecutive year, has revealed further details behind its decision to retain a presence at the event. The company took one of the larger stands at both the 2015 and 2016 event, and has opted for a similar strategy this year.

Ray Hillhouse, vice-president offline business at Morgana, was keen to praise the ongoing efforts of the organising team for their commitment to improving The Print Show, adding that Morgana has felt the full benefits of this.

Hillhouse said: “We have enjoyed two very successful events with The Print Show – it has put itself firmly on the exhibition map for the UK’s printing industry. All of that means that Morgana need to be there.

“The attendance at the first two editions of The Print Show was excellent. The marketing of the event has been very thorough to date, so we are looking forward to another successful exhibition.”

In addition, in a further boost to this year’s show floorplan, Humidity Solutions has signed up to exhibit at the 2017 event in October. While visitors to the show will be able to view some of the latest solutions on offer from the company, all of those that visit hall one during the event will be able to experience the full effect of the firm’s technology, as it will be provide humidity control to hall one from its stand.

John Barker, sales director at Humidity Solutions, said: “The Print Show has established itself as the annual meeting place for the print industry offering continuity and support to the UK market. It provides us with the platform to showcase new solutions for creating the best possible environment in which to print.

“Telford offers a superb location in the centre of the country with easy access, which I am sure will make for a very productive three days in October.

“As part of the exhibition we will be providing humidity control to Hall 1 from our stand via our Airtec high pressure water system. We will also be showing our Eiger cooling / humidity system, specifically designed for temperature and humidity control of digital print rooms. In addition, we will be handing out free copies of our ‘Printers’ Guide’ on how to create the ideal humidity and temperature control for a print environment.”
