TubeScan from Nyquist completes the BST eltromat offering for 100% print inspection
Customers benefit from the close ties between Engineering and Sales

BST eltromat showed its entire product portfolio at drupa, including TubeScan. Among other things, the full-service supplier for quality assurance and production optimization in web-processing industries also presented a complete offering for 100% print inspection. In this context, BST eltromat sets new standards as regards both engineering and distribution with the TubeScan eagle view from its cooperation partner, Nyquist. Visitors to drupa could be convinced themselves of the system’s performance at live demonstrations at the BST eltromat booth in Hall 10 (Booth D41).

“The TubeScan systems from Nyquist Systems fit perfectly into the BST eltromat portfolio,” explains Kristian Jünke, Managing Director of BST eltromat International. “Based on many years of experience, we like to give our customers in the various product segments a choice between eco versions, basic systems and high-end solutions. The TubeScan systems complete our product range in 100% print inspection and offer narrow-web customers, in particular, a compact system that can be integrated in almost all printing presses, cutting systems and finishing machines.”

Particularly with the TubeScan eagle view, Nyquist Systems and its sales partner, BST eltromat, set new standards in the field of 100% print inspection. While the TubeScan digital strobe version for checking for missing labels and matrix residues, and the TubeScan digital strobe++ model for detecting relevant printing defects, were already ground-breaking developments in cost-efficient 100% control, the TubeScan eagle view, with its combination of 100% print inspection and video web inspection, now opens up a completely new world for price-conscious label printers and label companies.

“Our success speaks for itself. We’ve already installed well over 400 TubeScan inspection systems around the world since 2013. Our sales figures have doubled over the previous year in each of the past two years,” says Dr. Stephan Krebs, Managing Director of Nyquist Systems, summing up the situation. “We’re delighted to be an integral part of the BST eltromat Group. Teaming up with BST eltromat has given us a strong partner, who’s enabled us to successfully launch our systems on the market through its extensive, international sales and service network.”

Both the joint progress and the advances made by the separate companies offer numerous synergistic effects. On the one hand, Engineering constantly develops new ideas for functions and products that are then examined on the basis of the customer feedback received through Sales and ultimately approved. On the other hand, Sales gives Engineering important leads regarding what customers would like to have, and the direction product development should take in the future. The exchange of information and experience between Sales and Engineering benefits both companies, also helping them to jointly take their customers forwards.
